The expansion of the Odense hospital includes the construction of a new treatment building and the building of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The buildings of this one of the leading medical institutions of modern Denmark will be located in a park zone, which has a round shape, which, according to the authors of the project, symbolizes health, hope, “the circle of life”. Henning Larsen's architectural concept, called "Aurora", involves the construction of several volumes that will serve as a kind of "bridges" between existing buildings. Architects deliberately rely on modern materials and technologies, and laconic rectangular shapes alternate with volumes traditional for this part of Denmark - buildings with expressive gable roofs form small cozy quarters, more like suburban buildings than hospital yards. All kinds of laboratories and hospitals are grouped in the so-called "Big House", which plays the role of the semantic center of the composition, while the reception departments and wards for outpatients are housed in compact "houses" scattered throughout the complex.

As for the Siemens headquarters in Munich, this is also a reconstruction. The company plans to completely modernize the buildings at its disposal, making them more energy efficient and “friendly” in relation to the environment and the historic city (Siemens “residence” is located next to Wittelsbacherplatz - perhaps the most beautiful square of the era of classicism in Munich, which preserved the handwriting of Leo von Klenze). In terms of the plan, designed by Henning Larsen, the complex resembles a computer board and reproduces the quarter buildings so characteristic of Munich with courtyards, some of which are completely isolated from the street, while others become a kind of green niches available to all citizens. The total area of the renovated headquarters will be just over 41,000 square meters. The new complex will include six buildings, interconnected by galleries-passages, raised above ground level. The sloping walls of the buildings and the use of a large amount of glazing (part with a mirror effect) will provide the buildings with a sufficient amount of natural light, and the built-in solar panels more than compensate for the energy consumption for lighting workplaces at night. The use of these and other green technologies will allow the new complex to qualify for LEED platinum certification. The renovation of Siemens headquarters in Munich is planned to be completed by 2016.
