The 10-storey building in the north of the city contains 65 social apartments, 28 apartments with an average rent and purchase option, space for shops on the 1st floor (655 m2), offices on the second level (1145 m2), as well as low workshop buildings surrounding the courtyard in front of a residential building: they are intended for small businesses. In addition, there is a 2-storey underground garage for 78 cars.
The main feature of the building is its shiny facade: it reflects light, protecting the apartments from overheating. It is composed of plastic panels (cellular polycarbonate) - transparent, translucent and matte. To preserve the overall flavor, they are covered with a monochrome film from the inside.
The lower part of the building with non-residential premises is solved in a more traditional way: glazed and concrete surfaces alternate there.
The apartments, ranging in size from studios to 4-5-room apartments, are planned with a module of 320 mm. In the future, this will make it possible to unite neighboring apartments, for example, if relatives move in them.
All apartments face two facades, which provides through ventilation; they necessarily have additional open space - a balcony, loggia, terrace or roof section. Loggias are made with an area of approx. 10 m2 for a dining table.
Solar collectors installed on the roof provide the house with hot water.
