This part of the Mitte district, the very center of Berlin, is a unique cocktail of old 18th and 19th century mansions, panel houses and new developments. The main task of the architects was to reproduce the atmosphere of a classic apartment building in Berlin with modern means: many apartments, a green courtyard. Unlike ordinary buildings, the greenery in the courtyard of this house is located in a cascade, at different levels.
The curtain façade made of vertical aluminum slats of complex profile softens the standard rectangular shapes of large, high-rise windows and balconies. It creates a completely different impression of the house - both inside and outside: the fluid organic lines of the window openings distinguish the façade from the traditional buildings and transform each apartment into a unique one.
Here you can become the owner of a townhouse with a private garden, a tenant of a classic Berlin apartment or the owner of a penthouse with a beautiful view of the Museum Island.
The architects were not only involved in the building itself, but also in interior design: from staircases and elevators to bathroom equipment.
