Urban Awards are the quality standard in the urban residential real estate market.
The Urban Awards are presented in 29 nominations that cover all segments of residential urban real estate in Moscow, the Moscow Region and St. Petersburg - from economy class complexes to elite club houses. Objects undergo a serious selection in several stages: an objective assessment system, professional voting and site visits. The architectural design of the objects, their innovativeness, and the quality of construction are assessed separately. The laureates of the award are the best objects in their category that meet the modern requirements of residential real estate development.
In the category "Most Discussed Project of the Year", the award was given to the Art House LCD in Tessinsky Lane by architect Sergei Skuratov (developer - Statedevelopment, general director Andrei Grinev).
This bold and conceptual development project, which was born in the mind of the Developer and materialized thanks to the project of the workshop of Sergei Skuratov, has already become an event in the architectural environment and has repeatedly received professional awards.
The developer ignored the global trend of refurbishing lofts (former industrial complexes) and instead developed his own concept, neoloft, together with the architect. The complex was originally designed for comfortable living, not for production. This means that designers are more free to choose architectural solutions and interior design, and future owners of neoloft can be confident in the environmental safety of the building. Located on the banks of the Yauza River in Tessinsky Lane, Art House harmoniously fits into the center of Moscow and is a new standard for comfortable and high-quality housing.
The author of the Art House project, architect Sergey Skuratov, was named “Architect of the Year” (nomination of the award).
For the Art House project, Sergey Skuratov chose BOCKHORN facing brick of a complex dark color and with an unusual surface texture. The BOCKHORN factory (Germany) specializes in semi-antique clinkers, which are successfully used in Europe and are now gaining recognition from Russian customers. Therefore, the Art House residential complex in Tessinsky Lane is famous not only for the new format of real estate (neolofts), but also for the beautiful facade from the Wienerberger company.
The architect and the customer did not limit themselves to the use of clinker on the facade - the inner walls of spacious two-level lofts up to 9 meters high will also partly be finished with expensive clinker, giving the space in its apparent "simplicity" artistry and brutality.
Wienerberger supplied its materials, ceramic stone POROTHERM 25 and POROTHERM 2.1NF, and to the English Quarter by architect Mikhail Belov, who won the nomination "Best residential complex of business class" (PIK group).
