The Orange Cube was built at the Lyon docks by Jakob + Farlane Architects. Orange is not a random color - it is often used to paint port facilities.

The building of the hostel for foreign students and visiting scientists of the International University of Paris was built back in 1967. Architects Vincent Parreira and Antonio Vigra have developed a renovation scheme that includes a new exterior cladding.
