This image did not arise by accident - the challenge of combining spiritual and secular curricula led to a design that balances the importance of the two foundations of learning and illustrates the core values of the school. According to a survey of students and teachers, the chapel should be soft and feminine. It should be a place of reflection and worship bathed in natural light. Architect Gould Evans and Associates proposed wrapping the chapel in a thin lace curtain made of perforated metal.

The building of the hostel for foreign students and visiting scientists of the International University of Paris was built back in 1967. Architects Vincent Parreira and Antonio Vigra have developed a renovation scheme that includes a new exterior cladding.

The authors wanted to create a translucent, at the same time opaque shell, which would allow light to pass through it and at the same time create isolation of the interior; provided diffused illumination of the interior during the day, and gave the building a unique character at night.

The architects wanted to bring new life to the original morally and physically obsolete structure. Together with Rmig, they designed the perforated aluminum panels (3mm thick) in a repeating geometric pattern. And in order to enhance the effect of reflected and diffused light, especially at night, all 250 facade panels are painted with gold paint.
