On September 24 in London, the winners of the award were announced and the International Property Awards Europe 2013 was presented. The award was established in 1995 and is now one of the most prestigious international awards in the field of residential and office real estate. The award is international, but in fact more British: presented in London, the jury of the award includes, among others, the president of the British Institute of Interior Design Sue Timney and the executive director of the British Property Federation Andrew Panting. The awards are divided by region: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe, United Kingdom (separate from all of Europe), North and South America. Within the framework of the award, there are also several nominations: "Architecture", "Interior", "Development" and "Company in the field of real estate", which, in turn, are also divided into a number of subcategories.
This year, the list of winners of the European division of the award, the European Property Awards, is replete with projects from Russia. As many as 15 Russian objects were awarded in the "Architecture" category, among which 6 received the "Five Stars" - the highest award, and 9 more - the so-called "Honorable Mention of the Jury". However, among the awardees, in addition to Russian architects, there are at least two foreigners working in Russia: Eric van Egeraat and John MacAslan. We publish Russian buildings and interiors that were awarded this year's prize (and you can read about the 2012 awards here):
