During the overhaul of the Ulyanovsk Central Department Store, constructions measuring 3.1 × 5.4 m and weighing almost 1000 kg were used, which were installed by employees of StroyMax LLC with an accuracy of ± 3 mm.
For the first time in Ulyanovsk, large-sized float glass of the Jumbo format was used for double-glazed windows, the large weight of which makes high demands on the frame. The installation of extra-heavy infills is made possible by the exceptional design characteristics of the alt=F50 system.
Float glass is a monolith and has unique thermophysical characteristics. In addition, it has a perfect mirror-like surface that does not distort the reflection. Reliable "support" of the Jumbo in the glass unit is provided by special support pads for heavy infills and the transom profile of the facade system alt=" F50.
