Curated by designers Marc Newson and Sir Jonathan Ive, the Arco floor lamp and Snoopy table lamp were created for Flos by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the 1960s; and a "maxi" version of the Piani table lamp by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec released in 2011. In total, more than forty design items were exhibited at the auction, selected and customized by two curators: for example, Arco received a red marble base, and Snoopy received a red diffuser.
FLOS helped raise USD 280,750: an Arco floor lamp was sold for USD 68,750, a Piani table lamp for USD 75,000 and a Snoopy table lamp for USD 137,000. In total, 12 million 883 thousand USD were collected at the auction for 44 lots.
