Euroshop 2014 is a prestigious international event that brings together representatives from the retail design and visual merchandising sector every three years.
At the 200 sq. m showcased a variety of creative lighting options using the latest innovative LED Flos Architectural models, including Circle of Light, Running Magnet, Light Cut, Moonline and Skim Led, as well as iconic decorative fixtures such as Tatou by Patricia Urquiola and fixtures from collections of Soft Architecture. The technologies that Flos have introduced allow you to manage all aspects of lighting, adapting it to the needs of displaying objects; and make the use of LED lighting beneficial in terms of energy savings, lifespan and architectural integrity. For the Flos booth, Patricia Urquiola used a variety of materials, from wood and glass to drywall and cement, to showcase four different retail options. Flos has demonstrated how light, when used skillfully, can provide powerful support to personalize and decorate spaces and objects in the retail sector.
Collection Soft Architecture
Circle of light - Design by Flos Architectural
Circles on the ceiling, as if traced by a luminous compass, enhance the visual perception and the sense of spaciousness. This indoor lighting system consists of a circular metal structure on which the latest generation LED spotlights are installed. Circle of light is pre-wired and comes with a Soft-Architecture frame for easy and seamless installation on plasterboard ceilings.
Moonline - Designed by Frank Sinnaeve and Stephan Gunst
A recessed indoor luminaire that is installed on a plasterboard ceiling or wall and thus fits perfectly into the architectural space. The Moonstrip consists of extruded aluminum profiles and a magnet mount system that holds the latest generation LED light source modules. The dimmable LED modules are easily replaceable thanks to a magnetic snap-fit system that allows multiple combinations of three-dimensional connections, allowing more creative freedom.
The Running Magnet - Designed by Flos Architectural
The recessed luminaire for rooms, which is installed on a plasterboard ceiling or wall, consists of a series of magnetic profiles (24V / max 10A). These lighting modules include a magnet mount system that allows them to be fully mobile. Thanks to these mounts, the "Running Magnet" becomes an extremely flexible item that not only allows you to change the distribution of lighting modules, but also add more spotlights along the path. With Running Magnet, you can get two types of lighting: general and accent.
Skim Led - design Flos Architectural
Recessed luminaire with LED source. Skim Led contains elliptical lenses that allow excellent distribution of light on a vertical surface. Available in different lengths, Skim Led can be connected to each other, thus easily adapting to different spaces. Due to their small size, they can be easily integrated into the architectural environment.
Tatou - Designed by Patricia Urquiola After Chasen, the famous pendant light designed for FLOS in 2007, Vostok has once again become a source of inspiration for Patricia Urquiola. The classic ancient Japanese armor became for her not only a model of strength, but also dynamics, lightness and flexibility. This is how the idea of a luminaire of four intertwined identical elements was born, forming a dome that scatters direct light either up or down, and also allows light to pass through and out of it. Thus, through the perforated areas of the pattern, a harmonious play of light and shadow is created.
Tatou in French means "armadillo" - an amazing mammal with a horny protective shell. Like it, the "carapace" of the Tatou lamp protects the eyes from direct light, while at the same time it is distinguished by its subtlety and lightness. The Tatou is available in floor, table and pendant versions, in two sizes and three finishes: white, black or ocher gray.
