The Saint-Gobain acoustics division under the Ecophon brand is bringing to the Russian market an innovative suspension system with panels of seven different sizes Master ™ Matrix, which contributes to the creation of a favorable acoustic environment for people to work in large office spaces.

Master ™ Matrix is an innovative product that combines excellent acoustic properties with a unique design. The new grid system allows the free placement of panels with different structures and rhythms, while ensuring high installation accuracy, since the slabs are supplied with anchors already installed at the factory: the panels simply snap onto the grid system and can be opened like hatches to quickly access engineering networks, which are often located in the interceiling space. This approach to production allows you to reduce the time spent on installing the ceiling and additional adjustments.

“Our company has developed a unique ceiling system that is ideal for TABS buildings. Thermally Activated Building Systems (TABS) is a technology in which exposed concrete surfaces are used as part of a cooling system. This use of concrete surfaces in the thermal system significantly reduces energy consumption. In such buildings, wall-to-wall suspended ceilings are not applicable because they will cover the thermostatic surface of the concrete ceiling.

Installing the Master ™ Matrix in separate rows, with spaces between panels, will not impede normal air circulation. According to our research, the optimum value for achieving good acoustic performance is 60% of the ceiling coverage area. Now we have a product that easily allows you to create a good acoustic environment even in buildings made of "glass and concrete", - commented on the appearance of the novelty Konstantin Starobinsky, director of the business unit "Ecophone" company "Saint-Gobain" in Russia.

As a rule, after the panels are installed, the waste for trimming is about 5%. But in the new system, only whole slabs are used, which do not require additional installation steps.

Like all Ecophon products, Master ™ Matrix is environmentally friendly and fully recyclable. The panels are made from fiberglass, more than 70% recycled glass with a small amount of vegetable binder.
