The interior, reminiscent of the stylish kitchen of an expensive restaurant, is the work of the UNK project architectural bureau, which is not the first time collaborating with this customer. With all the diversity of Yulia Tryaskina's ideas that underlie the projects of each next Globus, they clearly show the common features that make the grocery boutiques, bazaars and delicatessen of this brand both easily recognizable and completely unique. There is always a technologically intelligent space, where all the attention, willy-nilly, focuses on the products, the careful selection of modern, custom-made equipment, well-thought-out and precisely directed lighting, and the central position of the very restaurant kitchen that everything is focused on. And from the artistic techniques - the strict laconicism of rectangular shapes and the indispensable presence of a radical black color on the walls, which allows, according to the customer's conviction, to show the assortment favorably. Everything else is a virtuoso decor and absolutely appropriate, very ironic decoration.

For example, in Zhukovka "Globus Gourmet" sells in the interiors of a French aristocrat's hunting lodge - with stucco moldings, pompous chandeliers and obligatory trophies on the walls - is no longer the capital, but not yet a manor. On Pokrovka, where Globus occupies the first floor of a 19th century tenement building, behind the shop windows of those times, there are the decorations of the mansion. On Yakimanka, where it all began: the Moscow chain "Gourmet", and cooperation with UNK project and Yulia - this "everything" is packed in the minimalism of the city dude's apartment: a lot of white, a lot of black, silver high-tech metal and black white botany wall graphics.

And in the new store in New Riga, of course, the theme of a country house appeared: wooden surfaces and an open fireplace, which exist in an inextricable connection with modern materials and innovative technologies. Most of the work surfaces and decorative elements are made of wood of various types or materials that imitate wood. Above the counters, a wide ribbon of "wood boxes" flows, with houseplants as if sprouting through the walls, directly referring to the greenery of the summer cottage - all to the garden!

The only thing missing is barbecue and kebabs.

But we also thought about this: opposite the embossed pixel wall-woodpile, a real grill-fireplace with live fire was built into a smooth brick surface. Here they cook Uzbek pilaf and barbecue. According to the authors, organizing something like this right on the trading floor is not an easy task. Firstly, it was necessary to tame the open fire in a closed room, and secondly, to solve the problem with the smells of cooking dishes … As a result, there is no soot or obsessive smells of roasting meat, and each department here gives its own unique aromas. However, you should still not be guided by them.

The correct combination of wood with metallized panels and porcelain stoneware made it possible to clearly delineate the zones. A modern interpretation of Milanese ceramic tile masonry, similar to a slightly rippled surface of water, is the fish and seafood section. Crispy pastries are laid out in rows on tall wooden counters and are modeled on old provincial bakeries in large wicker baskets. Instead of fancy racks made of expensive materials, there are showcases made of bricks and dark metal, on which all types of meat are presented. Well, fresh herbs look best against the background of a tree.

In addition to the usual methods of organizing space, when the vegetable section attracts attention with bright illumination and the play of reflections in numerous mirrors, decorative figures of birds appear as a small but cute hooliganism over trays with nuts and dried fruits: roosters with multi-colored bushy tails and motley laying hens.

Traditional black wall panels, so popular in grocery stores in Europe, but not yet very familiar to the eye of the Russian buyer, bring together a variety of textures, surfaces and decorations.

The theme of wood-piles of walls on the ceiling is continued by cascades of hanging massive wooden bars. The ceiling light, numerous ducting and electrical ducts are lightly draped with these wooden stalactites. Interspersed with rectangular dark lamps and therefore softly illuminated from the inside, the beams become almost the main accent of the interior - after, in fact, the goods on sale, for which the right light is 90% of the sales success. The LED lighting system used here is a bold, uncommon solution for grocery stores in Russia. The selected LED lamps gave a very natural light, and besides, due to their property not to heat up, they extended the life of vegetables and fruits, giving them an even more appetizing look.

However, thanks to the right light, non-standard decorative elements and design findings, not only fruits and vegetables, but the entire interior seems very appetizing. Well, just "gourmet" …
