Nomination "Porcelain stoneware on facades", section "Projects":

Daria Afanasyeva, Rostov-on-Don

Academy of Architecture and Arts of the Southern Federal University.

Project: general education school for 275 students with an architectural and artistic focus in Rostov-on-Don

The division of the facades of the school reflects its internal structure. Color has been added to the "geometric" pictorial means - lines, flat and volumetric figures: its gradations in porcelain stoneware from black and dark green to light green and white create here the atmosphere necessary for a children's architectural and artistic institution.

Part of the facades of this building along the entire height are faced with gray porcelain stoneware with the inclusion of vertical and horizontal elements of orange-red color.
