Do you have an attic, but it seems uninteresting and gloomy to you? Last November, the Fazenda program featuring VELUX showed how to breathe new life into the dull and dark interior of a rooftop space. The heroes of this alteration really wanted to transform the living room in the attic, which lacked comfort. The project designer helped to achieve this. She suggested adding light, air and color to the attic.

Instead of an old-fashioned attic lined with clapboard, a stylish cozy living room appeared under the roof of the house. Bright accents and an unusual combination of styles made it unique, and the skylights filled with light and fresh air.

In the attic, two dormer windows of 114 * 118 cm were installed. Compare the result with what was before the redevelopment:

The project found:

  • 2 wooden windows model GPL "Panorama" with combined opening. Size S06 - 114x118 cm. Windows can be opened in two ways. For a panoramic view - along the upper axis by the handle at the bottom of the window. For ventilation and washing - along the central axis by the handle bar in the upper part of the window.
  • The handle-bar is combined with the ventilation valve, allows you to ventilate the room when the windows are closed.
  • The windows are fitted with DKL blackout curtains.

For all windows:

  • Scaffolds for flat roofing materials.
  • Slopes for fast and high-quality interior finishing of appropriate dimensions.
  • Set for hydro and thermal insulation BDX.
