Tokyo in 2105: with or without parks

The organizers invite participants to imagine what Tokyo will become in another ninety years. Whether parks will remain here or will disappear due to the rapid growth of the city's population and the development of modern technologies. In addition to the visual concept, the contestants need to develop a phased scenario for the development of Tokyo's urban environment from today until 2105.

This territory is densely populated, therefore, it is necessary to build high-rise and at the same time affordable housing. The task of the participants is to develop a project for one or a series of skyscrapers using shipping containers as building modules. In addition to solving urgent problems of local residents, such buildings can become a starting point for the formation of a new unique architectural appearance of the area.

Concordia lighthouse in Tuscany

However, they still play an important role and are an integral part of the maritime navigation tradition. The organizers of the competition invite participants to revise the concept of the lighthouse taking into account modern technological advances. The new lighthouse on the island of Giglio, in addition to fulfilling its main function, will become a monument to the victims of the wreck of the cruise ship Costa Concordia.
