The largest international trade fair for bathroom and sanitary equipment design ISH took place in Frankfurt. We are glad to tell you about the novelties of the world leaders of innovations in this area, the German sanitary brands Dornbracht and Alape.
Dornbracht
One of Dornbracht's top priorities is innovative wellness technologies that offer unique opportunities for health care and wellness prevention at home. The new Comfort Shower, which complements the Transforming Water line, allows for a seated massage shower for a new level of relaxation.
Another innovation in this series is the Leg Shower foot massage module, which can be installed separately or integrated into the Comfort Shower system.
Dornbracht also presents the innovative CL.1 bathroom mixer.
The series is characterized by a dynamic, "sporty" and at the same time elegant design: Sieger Design has provided for the CL.1 several variants of exquisite relief valves.
The CL.1 mixer, like equipment from other Dornbracht ranges, is water efficient and is controlled by smart digital switches Smart Tools.
For even easier control of shower systems and faucets, Dornbracht has developed a new Smart Water application for the iOS 8 platform. The application allows you to save and launch individual settings at the touch of a button, create your own temperature and massage programs for taking a shower, fill the bath, leaving the couch, and more. The Smart Water module can be connected to the Internet, which allows it to be integrated into a smart home system.
Dornbracht is also presenting its innovations for the kitchen - the Sync and Tara Ultra pull-out taps and two new raised spout taps in the existing eno range. These solutions are designed to optimize kitchen workflows.
Alape
Alape presents a range of innovations based on expert experience and constantly improving technologies for working with glazed steel - the hallmark of the brand. The Stream rectangular sink combines impeccable line accuracy with the streamlined shape of a functional bowl.
The depth of the 2step sink has two levels, the mixer is installed on an intermediate “step”, which can be used as a special shelf for wash accessories (thanks to this, the main surface of the console or washbasin stand is guaranteed to remain dry).
Another piece of news is the Unisono and Metaphor washbasins, which harmoniously combine a sink and a cylindrical or rectangular steel floor base.
The optional Unisono, Metaphor and 2step sink options raise the rim of the sink above the base surface, which not only provides a special aesthetic effect, but also expands the storage area around the sink while maintaining its depth.
In addition to new products, Alape is introducing a unique “flush-mount” system, thanks to which even ultra-slim models made of 3mm titanium glazed steel can be installed without visible joints in consoles made of various materials. This can only be ensured by the highest processing of the material, and Alape has succeeded in this.
