In Chongqing, an unprecedented density of high-rise buildings is currently under construction (one example of its constituent complexes is KPF's Financial Street). In line with this trend, Chinese architects MAD presented their design for a tower with a height of approximately 90 floors - in three versions at the same time.

The first connects organic form with the popular theme of "falling apart" buildings - in this case, individual floors, the boundaries of which are emphasized by tiers of terraces and balconies. The second version is a more restrained exercise on the theme of a skyscraper-prism. The third variation is reminiscent of the Absolute Towers complex currently under construction in Canada by the same architects: an organic, spiraling upward volume grows from the base - the "ziggurat" where the shopping center is located.
