Throughout the summer, in the colonnade of the Central House of Artists on Krymsky Val, the famous mosaic installation "The Golden River", created by the SPEECH Tchoban and Kuznetsov architectural bureau, together with the Italian maestro Marco Bravura, will be exhibited. The project was carried out with the participation of ARCH-SKIN and with the support of the Ismail Akhmetov Foundation.
The installation premiered at Milan Design Week in the spring of 2013 as part of the Fuori Saloni parallel program, organized annually by Interni magazine.
For the first time in Moscow, the Golden River will appear before the audience at the ArchMoscow exhibition and will be housed in the colonnade of the Central House of Artists as the flagship exhibit of the PROJECT LIGHT special project.
The object is a symmetrical sinusoidal arch of 3.5 meters in height, composed of two almost touching curved golden "tongues" of seven meters in length. As conceived by Marco Bravura, large pieces of colored Venetian glass are skillfully interspersed over the entire surface of the object. During the day, the sun's rays penetrate through the colored glass inserts, scattering around the unforgettable colored bunnies. And at night, with the onset of darkness, the backlight turns on, and the transparent glass inserts light up with bright colored lights.
