In any case, it is obvious that festivals prefer "public" facilities to "commercial real estate". But is this the only criterion and is it an architectural one? I don't even want to think about the rest of the criteria (in the terminology of Dmitry Fesenko they are defined as “painful to bite”). However, fortunately, not all of the “Section” awards coincided with the “Architecture”.

Alexander Skokan and Ostozhenka bureau"Received the main prize of the competition in the nomination" Project. Urban Development Complex "for the multifunctional complex of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Center. “It’s hard to say anything while holding such a wonderful award in our hands,” noted Alexander Skokan, “But I am sure that this award will help us a lot, it will become a kind of talisman in further work with this difficult object, with which we will live for several more years. In the nomination “Project. Buildings and Structures”two projects became laureates at once. The first one is reconstruction of the power unit CCGT-20 / 25t EHPP JSC "VTI" … According to the jury, the architects managed to make a real work of art out of a utilitarian structure. And one of the authors, Evgeny Polyantsev, admitted that he had not hoped for the main prize at all, since he was sure that they would never receive an award for the construction of sandwich panels. He expressed special gratitude to his young team, which until the very end believed in victory.

The second work in this nomination is multifunctional complex on Zemlyanoy Val, developed by the "Ginsburg Architects" workshop … Elena Solovieva, presenting a diploma to the winners led by Alexei Ginzburg, emphasized that this project can be called "truly contextual": the authors managed to catch both the scale and the rhythm of the environment, as well as form the street front. And Alexey Ginzburg said that this is the first Golden Section award for the entire existence of the workshop, so it is especially important for the entire team.

Reconstruction project and adaptation of the production buildings on 2nd Boevskaya street for an office center The jury recognized the best in the nomination “Implementation. Reconstruction". According to Nikolai Lyzlov, the architects tried to preserve the atmosphere and history of the place, trying, on the other hand, to use only high-quality materials - wood, red brick, forged elements.

The best in the category “Implementation. Restoration became Derozhinskaya mansion in Shtatniy lane, built in 1901 by the famous architect Fyodor Shekhtel. The restoration of the monument was carried out by the ArKo design bureau. The authors admitted that they had practically no competitors in this nomination - too few restoration projects were among the competition works. “I would like to see more of them next year,” noted the holders of the gold diploma.

In the "Printed Labor" nomination, the best was the book “Architect Fyodor Shekhtel. Encyclopedia of Creativity " … The authors of the book are Lyudmila Saygina and Sergey Economov.

In nomination Victor Loginov was awarded for honor and dignity, the predecessor of Nikolai Shumakov as president of the Agrarian Academy.
