The guest house is intended for families whose children are treated at a nearby hospital. It includes 25 apartments with specially designed furniture. All the windows of the living quarters face “towards the sunset” over the fields surrounding the city.
But the main role in the building is played by the public space on the ground floor. The prevailing tones of wood there contrasts with the silvery metal of the facades. There is a long table in the center where parents can cook and dine together, chatting and supporting each other. There is also a gentle ramp staircase where children can play and parents can work, it can be used as a stage and spectator places for performances and concerts. The staircase is connected to a spacious outside terrace.
