At the exhibition "Wooden House", held at the end of March in the Moscow "Crocus Expo", the exposition of the ARCHITAIL company was one of the most saturated, presenting a rare opportunity not only to choose a beautiful roof or facade decoration for oneself, but also immediately get technical advice from the company's engineers or order a project calculation.
DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF ROOFING SYSTEMS
Engineers of the ARCHITALE company will help you choose the best combination of roofing materials, taking into account the design features of your roof, design complex units and select additional materials to provide roof waterproofing or a ventilation system in the case of an attic floor. They will also reveal all the secrets of "roofing pies" and, if necessary, will select you not only skylights for slate or complex ceramic tiles, but also solar panels that are fashionable now. Eventually You will receive a full technical calculation and an objective estimate of your expenses!
NATURAL STONE FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR:
SLATE, QUARTZITE, PHILLITE, LIMESTONE
The exhibition presented various solutions for cladding facades and creating cozy interiors, such as Norwegian stone, slate and phyllite (“brother” of slate, close to its “family” in texture and color). Among the most interesting and exclusive options are colored slate from Cupa Pizarras (Spain), limestone (two unique options from the British company Burlington Stone), and also mention the quartzite Alta Skifer (Norway), especially the variety of shades: gray roofs, red facades - it's all about him.
Norwegian rock stone is ideal for creating a brutal and solid home. For facade cladding, you can use Minera Skifer quartzite and phyllite or Alta Skifer quartzite - all of which are produced in Scandinavia (mainly in Norway). The unique texture of the rock, usually gray, white and reddish, will give the façade a sense of nature in today's demanded countryside projects surrounded by forests. And in other cases, matte black phyllite is perfect for creating a monumental building, or decorating spacious halls and grand staircases.
"The rough beauty of nature" - for example, in the decoration of a pool or steam room - will look harmonious and create a warm atmosphere, despite the seemingly cold shade. Norwegian stone is often used as floor tiles - gray color and "natural" texture look especially good in interiors and landscapes of country houses.
NATURAL SLATE FACADE SYSTEM - SLATEFAS
Shale - British Welsh Slate from North Wales quarries or Spanish from SSQ and Cupa Pizarras - can compete for the right to create a beautiful project with Norwegian stone. This natural stone is mainly presented as a premium material and is often used in the construction of suburban facilities in the luxury segment. Slate is distinguished by a structure of various shades - from dark black and gray to light cinnamon and, less often, reddish. It is mainly used for wall and roof cladding. The texture and shape of the slate can be varied, allowing you to experiment with the design. You can overlap the masonry or create a flat surface. An interesting option will also be obtained when facing the facade with slate slates of a free form: the "stone" texture will create a monolithic look like a medieval castle.
All this can be achieved using the Slatefas natural slate facade system from the ARCHITAIL company. The main colors of this solution are dark gray, light gray, brown. The shape of the tiles and the design options are different.
CERAMIC TILES of premium class -
"Shingle", "Mediterranean", "classic English"
and luxury class - LUDOWICI
Ceramic tiles have a completely different texture than that of slate stone. At the exhibition, ARCHITALE presented offers in the Premium segment. In particular, the exposition featured roof tiles in the "shingle" style (Terreal, France) and luxury-class tiles "Ludowici" (Ludowici, USA).
Enchanting French rustic motifs are created with shingle-style terracotta tiles from Terreal, which supplies the material in three main types (flat, Mediterranean, grooved), with over 60 shapes and patterns and shades and colors - more than 300.
The luxury style of the exclusive tile "Ludovichi" from the USA is suitable for creating an elegant roof of mansions and villas, as well as for cladding the facade in general (fortunately, the rich color range allows) and for paving sidewalks. A variety of tile profiles in different historical styles, which have been created over more than 120 years of the manufacturer's history, will make it possible to bring to life the most daring decisions of architects and designers.
FACING AND SIDE BRICK
ARCHITAIL also supplies facing and sidewalk bricks to the Russian market. These materials were exhibited at the exhibition. English tiles (terracotta ceramics) and handmade bricks were shown by Sahtas UK (Great Britain). And handmade clinker bricks of various textures and colors (black, red, yellow) were presented by PETERSEN TEGL / KOLUMBA (Denmark).
MASTER CLASS FOR PROCESSING AND STACKING SHALE
The variety of colors of roofing slate and its amazing workability make it possible to implement unique artistic designs on facades and roofs. In the hands of an experienced roofer, slate can be transformed into a true work of art.
An example of such an execution within the framework of the exhibition "Wooden House" 2016 was demonstrated by Alexey Platukhin, a specialist of the ARCHITALE company. The master showed how to work with roofing slate, masterly tapping with a hammer and giving the tiles the correct shape for laying unusual roofs. During the installation, various slate tile formats were used in several colors. The slate is laid in different directions, which gives great possibilities for the imagination of the roofer.
