The workshop was held in Satka from July 24 to August 2. In addition to four teams of architects from St. Petersburg, Ivanovo, Ufa and Moscow, 70 volunteers took part in it. The main task was to rethink the urban space, where today there is a lack of infrastructure and improvement components. In just ten days, four wooden objects were designed and implemented by the efforts of the participants, which now adorn the city streets.
"Uralskaya Gorka" is the object of Alexey Melnikov's team from Ufa. This is a wooden structure on the embankment, which, according to the authors, should become the most photographed in Satka.
Mikhail Shatrov's team from Ivanovo presented a multifunctional gazebo called "Yard". This object is intended to give new life to one of the courtyards on Industrialnaya Street. Here, residents of the house will be able to chat, have a picnic, and hold an entertainment program for children.
Under the leadership of Natalya Parsadanova (St. Petersburg), an anti-vandal gallery was created in the arch of a residential building, where the works of local amateur photographers will now be exhibited.
Finally, Alexandra Chertkova's team from Moscow designed an amphitheater near the Magnezit recreation center. Here you can enjoy the sunset or admire the rock garden created by Igor Safiullin as part of the same workshop.
