In November, Rostov-on-Don hosted the "Designer's Day", which is annually held by the publishing house "EurostroyProfi" in different cities of Russia and is one of the most significant events for the professional community. ISOVER (Saint-Gobain company) traditionally took an active part in the event and presented complex solutions in the field of construction.
In his speech, Kirill Paramonov, ISOVER technical specialist (Saint-Gobain company), told the participants in detail about the company's advanced solutions in the field of facade insulation systems: SFTC (composite facade thermal insulation systems) and IAF (suspended ventilated facades), in each of the which provides for the use of effective thermal insulation materials such as ISOVER.
SFTK (ETICS) is a facade insulation system, in which the installation of thermal insulation boards is carried out by gluing them to the base using special adhesive mixtures, followed by mechanical fastening with disc dowels, and decorative plaster is applied directly to the thermal insulation layer. As a rule, when insulating SFTC, ISOVER Plaster Facade or ISOVER Facade Light based on fiberglass, ISOVER Facade or ISOVER Facade-Master based on stone fiber are used.
It is worth noting that the undoubted advantages of using heat-insulating materials (TIM) based on fiberglass in SFTK are high vapor permeability, which additionally contributes to the removal of moisture from the wall, and the low weight of the slabs, due to which construction work is simplified, and installation time is reduced.
Independent laboratory studies of SFTK with ISOVER mineral wool, carried out at NIISF RAASN and MGSU, have confirmed the stability of the strength and heat-insulating properties of the system.
ISOVER materials fully comply with the requirements of GOST 56707-2015, have all the necessary certificates, are non-flammable, environmentally friendly and durable (service life is at least 50 years).
In turn, the IAF is a system consisting of a metal frame on which cladding panels made of various materials are hung, and the heat-insulating layer is attached directly to the wall with facade dowels.
A wide range of ISOVER products is used to insulate such facades. Mineral wool boards ISOVER VentFasad Top or ISOVER VentFasad Mono based on fiberglass, as well as ISOVER Venti and Venti Optimal based on stone fiber are used as the outer layer. As an inner layer, Saint-Gobain specialists recommend using ISOVER VentFasad Optima, ISOVER VentFasad Niz, ISOVER VentFasad Niz Light based on fiberglass, as well as ISOVER Light or ISOVER Optimal based on stone fiber.
Various tests of ISOVER materials for IAF at NIISF RAASN proved the reliability of TIM during long-term operation in adverse conditions, confirmed the possibility of attaching large-format plates to 5 dowels and the absence of the need to use windproof membranes

This approach allows us to supply only high quality products that meet the highest Russian and international requirements.
