GRAPHISOFT Company® took part in a major architectural and urban planning conference "Spatial Development and Architecture", organized by the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Krasnodar Territory with the participation of the ANO National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning and with the information support of the journal Science and Life. On the first day of the conference, a dinner was held with the developer - General Director of Krasnodar City LLC Andrey Sigidin, where the participants were able to discuss topical problems in the field of architecture and construction.
Through all the reports read at the conference, the eternal question of "confrontation" between the architect and the customer of the project ran like a red thread. The customer, as a rule, prioritizes commercial benefits, and the architect seeks to take into account the comfort, convenience, aesthetic perception, which often significantly increases the cost of the project.
Kirill Kondratenkov, Lead Product Manager of GRAPHISOFT Russia, also touched on this topic in his report “BIM in Action. Modern Building Information Modeling Technologies Based on Open BIM Interaction”. This presentation did not go unnoticed by the participants, causing many questions and active discussions, which continued even after the end of the main time of the conference.
The participants highly appreciated the level of organization of the event. Softline manager Anna Kvitka noted: “Of particular interest was the report of the chief architect of the Moscow Institute of Heliotecture, Sergei Nepomnyashchy, on the development of cities of the future. The concept represents multi-level microdistricts with the preservation of existing buildings and raising them to the upper "floor". At the same time, it is planned to create an infrastructure that will provide comfortable accommodation for a much larger number of people. And due to the thoughtful penetration of light and landscaping of territories, the feeling of harmony and comfort increases."
