Photo © Hufton + Crow Sports and leisure facilities - both newly built and reconstructed or modernized - commissioned between January 1, 2010 and March 31, 2016 and in operation for at least 1 year are eligible for the award. Not only functionality, technical equipment and design of the facility will be assessed, but also its environmental friendliness. One of the goals of the award is to promote barrier-free access for all groups of the population to sports and leisure facilities, so this criterion will also play an important role in the selection of laureates.

Competition categories:

  • open stadiums;
  • outdoor sports grounds;
  • multifunctional sports halls;
  • closed complexes for sports and recreation;
  • swimming pools and health centers;
  • specialized sports spaces.

Application for participation must be submitted jointly by the customer and the designer.
