The chapel was erected in the Boshes estate; it is surrounded by vineyards and a pomegranate garden planted especially for it. The undulating white concrete roof is a key component of the project, referring to Psalm 35: “How precious is Your mercy, God! The sons of men are dead in the shadow of Thy wings …"
The walls of the chapel are made of glass to provide panoramic views of the area, including the mountain ranges that also inspired the project - as well as the whitewashed gables of Cape Dutch-style farms that are characteristic of South Africa.
To completely free up the interior, all additional functions are placed on the ground floor or in separate pavilions in the corners of the surrounding garden.
