As conceived by the architects, the building of the Faculty of Islamic Studies is designed to oppose the existing "negative image of Muslim education" with a progressive educational environment. At the same time, the relationship of faith and knowledge is expressed through an “endless” spiral plan and many paths connecting the areas of the faculty and the mosque (while they are clearly separated by a cascade for ablution). The building is raised on five pillars: they symbolize the five pillars of Islam and are covered with sayings from the Koran on relevant topics. As a result, a shaded space has been created under the building that leads to the main entrance to the faculty.
A large volume of the mosque is located in the south, in the center there is a library, classrooms, teachers' offices, and in the west - two 90-meter minarets, symbolizing knowledge and light. For study, you can use both classrooms and corridors, lounges, a garden in the spirit of Islamic landscape architecture. Three-dimensional panoramas of the interior of the mosque can be viewed

The project assumes the equality of students and female students: it is designed for their joint study, the spaces there are completely devoid of hierarchy and provide equal opportunities for men and women.
