Within the framework of the largest construction exhibition MosBuild held in April, Aikyu Facade LLC, the official representative of the Slovenian company Trimo in Russia, presented its key product - the Qbiss One modular facade system. More than 30 projects have already been implemented using this system in Russia, including such landmark objects as the Strigino international airport in Nizhny Novgorod, the Boeing scientific and technical center in Skolkovo, VTB Ice Palace in Moscow, the Porsche and Mercedes Benz car dealership network and many others.
Svetlana Lazareva, a representative of Trimo, tells about the advantages of Qbiss One and the most interesting projects using it:
Svetlana Lazareva
“On the Russian market, Aykyu Facade LLC represents a manufacturing company, a developer of modular facade systems Trimo. The company's production facilities are based in Slovenia and Serbia, while Trimo products are in great demand in more than 60 countries around the world. The key product of the company in Russia is the Qbiss One modular facade system - a highly prefabricated product with almost unlimited architectural and aesthetic possibilities. A variety of color palettes and textures, the ability to apply a three-dimensional pattern or perforation, the ability to place internal lighting, the use of radial elements that allow you to quickly and efficiently erect buildings of any shape - all this opens up great prospects for ambitious architects aimed at creating unique architectural structures. Our modular system is designed for beautiful and non-trivial buildings. That is why we call Qbiss One an architectural system. High aesthetics, excellent functionality and manufacturability distinguish it from other facade solutions and sandwich panels.
Another significant advantage that allows you to quickly erect buildings using Qbiss One - the system is completely manufactured in the factory and does not require any modifications on the construction site. The robotic line minimizes the impact of the human factor, which allows you to always achieve a predictable high-quality end result, as well as ensuring the durability of the structure. Trimo gives a 30-year guarantee for the color fastness and corrosion resistance of the outer surface of the façade. The finished wall solution reduces to zero the likelihood of any errors and inconsistencies. Of course, the construction time of the building is significantly reduced and the installation process is noticeably simplified. Construction using Qbiss One wall elements is ten times faster than assembling a ventilation facade. The wall grows literally before our eyes, since the Qbiss One module is self-supporting and is attached to the metal frame. For production, only high-quality materials are used - English galvanized steel, non-combustible mineral wool. In addition to, in fact, wall modules, the company produces fencing, corner, additional elements, any adjoining to other types of facades, roofs and plinths, supplies adapters and frames for doors and windows in the kit.
As I said, the advantages of our system allow us to build objects all over the world, in any climatic conditions: from Novy Urengoy to the United Arab Emirates. The main segment is commercial construction and large urban projects - shopping and hotel complexes, airports, multifunctional centers, railway stations, sports facilities and others."
Boeing Science and Technology Center in Skolkovo
The construction of the Boeing Science and Technology Center and the International Aviation Academy has recently been completed in Skolkovo. The Aviation Training Center is designed to train and train pilots and engineering personnel. For the construction of the training center, Trimo supplied Qbiss One wall modules, which made it possible to realize the idea of a combination of vertical and horizontal façade layouts. The joint between the ceiling and wall panels was realized using the 3D corner piece Qbiss One F. It is important that Trimo was actively involved in the implementation of the project at all stages - from design to installation work.
Strigino airport in Nizhny Novgorod
The terminal of the international airport in Nizhny Novgorod was built in 2015 in preparation for the 2018 World Cup. The authors of the project, the Signy group bureau, proposed to combine the smooth streamlined shape of the main volume of the building with a rectangular, chopped roof and protruding awnings. The contrasting combination and complexity of the form were emphasized with the Qbiss One modular façade system, which covered over 4,000 m² of terminal facades. In addition to supplying products, Trimo also performed assembly work.
Porsche Dealerships
Trimo works with Porsche all over the world and, as in the case of Mercedes Benz, is already part of the Porsche brand book. Porsche dealerships have a stylish and recognizable architectural appearance - sophisticated streamlined shapes and exceptionally high-quality materials. Smooth, flowing volumes of car dealerships allow to demonstrate the capabilities of Qbiss One radial facades in all its glory. Each wall module is curved along a predetermined radius, which guarantees perfect proportions and precision in the implementation of even the most complex design. Porsche showrooms have been built all over the world using Trimo products. Vivid examples can be seen in Russia - for example, in Moscow at 27 km of the Moscow Ring Road, in Voronezh, Kazan, Ufa.
VTb Ice Palace in Moscow
An ice rink with three ice arenas was built on the territory of the former ZIL industrial zone as part of the Legends Park sports and entertainment quarter. According to the project developed by the Speech workshop, the facades of the building mimic the surface of ice with skate marks. Transparent surfaces are replaced by blind parts made with the Qbiss One B modular facade system. Trimoterm FTV wall sandwich panels were also used in the project. The aesthetic properties of the material made it possible to implement the project at the highest level - in accordance with its status as a landmark object of urban infrastructure.
SEC "Well" in Moscow
In 2016, the construction of the Horosho shopping center on Khoroshevskoe highway was completed. we
have already talked about this notable project developed by IQ Studio. Qbiss One matt metal panels were used for cladding the facades of the building. The non-standard shape required the use of radial vertical elements, including panels of the opposite radius.
SEC "Solnetsny" in Novy Urengoy
Shopping and entertainment center "Solnechny" was built in a harsh in terms of climatic conditions region of the country - in Novy Urengoy. The project was developed by Portner Architects, who proposed a bright and sunny architectural image for the far north: the orange-red facades of the building depict the rays of the rising sun. The choice in favor of the Qbiss One modular façade system was clear in this case. Given the climatic features of the region with very short summers, speed and all-season construction were imperative. Modular facades not only made it possible to implement the project in the shortest possible time, but also provided the necessary thermal performance. For this building, a module with a thickness of 240 mm was used. Solnechny is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest shopping center in the Polar region.
SEC "Edem" and the Philharmonic in Novosibirsk
Using the modular facade system Qbiss One, a four-storey shopping and entertainment center "Edem" was built on Kutateladze Street in the Akademgorodok of Novosibirsk. To decorate the building, the ArtMe facade design was used - a three-dimensional drawing on smooth steel. The drawing is applied with a roller from the outside and can have any shape - from abstract images to a company logo.
Another object implemented in Novosibirsk using Trimo products is the Arnold Katz State Concert Hall.
