Flexible panels are ideal for buildings with the most complex shapes and curves - the Rockpanel Stones series ignores gravity. The new Rockpanel Stones not only impress with their design, but are also a cost-effective and sustainable solution, as a complete replacement for traditional façades made from conventional stone or concrete.
Rockpanel Stones panels are available in 11 designs that are as close as possible to the sources of inspiration for the creators of the new series - stone, basalt and concrete.
They are easy to install and maintain. The panels, made of pressed natural basalt, are lightweight - 8 mm thick slabs weigh only 8.4 kg / m². They are easy to work with - for example, they can be bent without any pretreatment.
The cladding boards have a high-quality 4-layer water-based coating, thanks to which the appearance, color and texture of the surface are preserved for many decades. In addition, all boards in this series have an additional protective coating Protect Plus: the surface of the panels is resistant to UV, temperature and weather effects. An additional convenience is that it does not require special cleaning - the dirt is simply washed off with rainwater.
The slabs provide a high level of fire safety for the cladding. All products in the Rockpanel range meet the K0 structural fire rating as part of an air-gap curtain wall system.
By listing Rockpanel products in the BRE Green Book and using Rockpanel materials in their designs, architects and designers can improve a building's sustainability rating when judged by a system such as BREEAM.
