The interior exhibition Maison & Object is a kind of "fashion week" for designers: it is not for nothing that it is held simultaneously with the Paris fashion week; it is a platform for communication of professionals from around the world. At the exhibition, you can place orders and establish cooperation with the presented brands, exchange creative ideas. Along with large and popular companies - Baxter, Imperfettolab, Lasvit, JNL and so on - there are a huge number of small workshops, working independently by artists and artisans, little-known firms where you can find real masterpieces.

In accordance with its name, the exhibition is divided into the categories "Home" (furniture, tableware, textiles), "Decorative items and accessories", as well as a separate section on the industry leaders, Influencers.

In the pavilions of "influencers" dedicated to contemporary art de vivre - the art of living, all the diversity can be entered within the framework of already established trends:

• Graphic quality. It can be most clearly seen in lighting design: the authors actively use lines, forming volume from them. Graphic design as a technique is present both in minimalist interpretations and in complex baroque "chandeliers" imitating SketchUp's rendering.

• Gold. There is even more gold than before, and matte and gloss are roughly equal. It can be found in lighting fixtures, home furnishings, furniture coverings, bathroom furnishings, and kitchenware.

• Natural materials and their imitation: wood, stone, horn.

• Textures and their contrasts. The combination of the already mentioned gold and natural stone, wood, gloss and complex textured surfaces

• Muted, complex dark colors. Cobalt and dark shades of turquoise combined with beige, brown and gold, as well as dark green clearly dominated the presented interiors.

• Minimalism gives way to art deco, eclecticism and classics.

In the rest of the pavilions, divided by stylistic focus - "Elegant", "Cozy", "Modern" and "Eclectic" - a quick glance notices ethnic motives, island and tropical themes, which have remained in fashion for several years. There is also a wide variety of weaving and knitted textures in furniture and decor.
