The Lot 7 office complex is located in the Clichy-Batignolles area, which is now undergoing active reconstruction: among other things, there was a new Parisian Palais de Justice designed by Renzo Piano, as well as business and residential buildings, schools, cinemas, etc.

The new building by Chartier Dalix and Brenac & Gonzalez & Associés comprises 24,200 m2, including 1,150 m2 for retail. It is located on Mstislav Rostropovich Street, one of the key ones in the area under reconstruction. On the opposite side, it faces the train tracks leading to the Saint-Lazare train station, and even hangs over the marshalling yard. It is this neighborhood that has become defining for the image of the building: according to the architects, it is incomparable with anything else and gives the work in the office a “kinetic” aspect. In addition, the space above the railway is a rare instance of a vacant, undeveloped zone in a city, which makes the views from the windows facing there much larger.

Glass and terracotta "ribbons" of the facades are reminiscent of rails, covering the entire volume of the building and thus giving it a unity. Glazed panels of three types, differing in relief from vertical stripes, change color depending on the angle of view and lighting, resembling both paintings by Pierre Soulages and industrial buildings nearby.

The complex has open terraces, bridges and landscaping, which enlivens the views from the windows and provides employees with recreational areas, which also include a cafe with a "warm" wooden interior. The glazing of the lower tiers is more extensive (93%) than the above (43%) to provide all interiors with sunlight. All floors are covered with an automatic shutter system. The windows can be opened, making it possible to do without air conditioning At the same time, adiabatic coolers and a radiant heating system are provided, and employees can regulate the heating power at their workplace using baseboard heaters. Solar panels are installed on the roof (1725 m2, 315 MWh / year).
