The park with an area of 14.61 hectares is built into the central zone of Skolkovo: the Hypercube, Kvadrat and Matryoshka are located here, as well as hostels and the teaching quarter. The architects tried not to change the existing landscape and to preserve as many trees as possible.
The park can be conditionally divided into two parts. An active zone saturated with infrastructure facilities is formed around a natural pond. A laconic "business" embankment will appear near the entrance to the "Hypercube". On the semicircular arrow there is a pavilion, a dance floor and a spacious meadow suitable for concerts. And in the birch grove, that is, closer to the entrances to the family and children's parks, there is a loop pier, a health trail, tree houses and a children's play area "Volcano". They are connected by a circular route around the pond.
On the periphery of the park, closer to residential buildings, there is a quieter area. Here you can walk with children, play sports, have picnics. Bicycle and pedestrian paths are combined into a single route "Rainbow". It was organized so as not to cut down existing trees, but only to supplement them with new plantings: tapeworms - places for solitude, arrays of ornamental shrubs and flowers.
The designers tried to make the park an all-season one: in winter, bike paths turn into a ski track, a pond - into a skating rink, and you can ride on the Vulcan slides both in summer and in winter. To make the park cozy even in the dark, illumination was conceived.
In the future, the Central Park is planned to be connected by a common route with other parks of the cluster: the already implemented Children's, as well as the Family, Sports, Tennis, the Technopark garden and the Alley of Festivals and Fairs.
