The German company 3A Composites is primarily associated with traditional aluminum composite panels, which for almost 50 years has been producing under its own brand ALUCOBOND.® - this name has long become a household name. Another company product, ALUCORE®, perhaps not so famous, but no less interesting.
ALUCORE® Is a honeycomb composite panel consisting of two anti-corrosion alloy cover sheets, between which there is an aluminum honeycomb core. This "filler" gives the material ultra-high flexural rigidity - at least 14 times higher than that of traditional composite panels, and a low weight - only 6.3 kg / m2.
All three layers are connected in a continuous viscoelastic bonding process, due to which they become almost a single structure - this is the main difference between ALUCORE panels.® from most similar materials.
ALUCORE® resistant to any weathering, has excellent soundproofing properties, high ductility, easy to process. It is quite understandable why the same technologies are used in the construction of spacecraft and airplanes.
The combination of know-how with the HILTI company resulted in the emergence of the new ALUCORE façade system.® XXL. The system is a set of brackets, bearing profiles and fasteners that are installed on the back side of aluminum honeycomb panels using a unified riveted joint.
The system allows mounting ALUCORE panels® even in very large formats, up to 1500x9600 mm, and in any direction: vertically, horizontally, diagonally, offset or tilted. Due to the two-layer structure of the bearing profiles, the location of the joints does not depend on the base of the structure. For the design of joints with a width of 10 to 50 mm, an additional decorative seam profile is used.
With ALUCORE® XXL ready-made panels can be easily and quickly installed directly on the construction site. Mechanical fasteners on all elements of the system allow you to do this at any time of the year, and thanks to the adjusting screws, the panels are installed with high precision. The minimum set and simplicity of fastening elements reduces the influence of the human factor.
New facade system ALUCORE® XXL allows you to create complex architectural forms that can withstand high wind loads, facades from large elements, suspended ceilings and roofs.
