The competition "Recreation Area at the University" is being held by the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow for the second time. This year, the organizers received 51 projects from students and recent graduates of architectural and design specialties of Moscow universities and colleges. By assignment was to choose a specific site on the territory of one of the educational institutions and propose a project for its arrangement (to develop sketches of furniture and small forms) for students to relax and communicate. The best project was awarded to the Moscow Architectural Institute graduates Anastasia Gavryushina and Maryana Krylova for the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute (MATI). It is planned to implement it.
Below are all the projects that won prizes.
First place
Anastasia Gavryushina, Maryana Krylova, Moscow Architectural Institute
The courtyard of the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute was selected for the project. Today, there are only four benches on the 6,200 m² plot - no further improvement is envisaged. The authors' proposal is to place rotating cylindrical multifunctional objects on this territory, which can serve as a canopy, a place for communication and discussion of projects, and a workspace. The design solution reflects the profile of MATI - the image of an aircraft turbine served as the basis for the project. The project is expected to cost 300,000 rubles. It is proposed to start with three "turbines", in the future the number can be increased.
Second place
Oleg Chedia, RANEPA
The project "Redvizh" was created for the courtyard of the RANEPA. The participant proposes to create a green multifunctional space that can be used both as a place for informal communication and as an outdoor audience. You can stay here even in bad weather, since the project provides for a water-repellent awning and a special design of the seats, which allows not only to drain rainwater from under the wooden flooring, but also to water the plants with its help.
Second place
Ramziya Khairutdinova, Irina Talibova, RANEPA
RANEPA students also dedicated this project to their academy. "House under the Starry Sky" is intended to revive the territory, make it a popular meeting place, and return the feeling of home comfort to students.
Third place
Polina Turishcheva, Moscow State University of Art and Design S. G. Stroganov
Graduate of the Moscow State University of Art and Technology S. G. Stroganova proposes not to change the general layout of the courtyard of the academy, but to supplement it with bright elements: modular furniture transformable for the needs of students, small eco-houses for communication and swings - after all, they should be in every courtyard.
The competition was held within the framework of the II Ecological Forum of Students, which will be held at Moscow Architectural Institute on November 15.
