Book “Nature and Architecture. The Path of Integration”came out on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its author - architect and researcher Viktor Logvinov. It is based on scientific research and observations from personal practice, the material is written in simple language, richly illustrated and suitable for a wide range of readers.
Victor Logvinov explores the "sustainable" development of architecture, which does not contradict nature and takes place in harmony with it. The author formulates several principles that help to create "nature-integrated" architecture: for example, the principle of conservation of space, regeneration of biocenosis, use of natural forms, rational consumption and others. The emergence and development of such principles is examined in the book on examples of world and Russian architecture.
Viktor Logvinov also debunks some myths about "green" architecture, associated, for example, with the high cost and complexity of technologies, the inappropriate Russian climate, etc.
It is possible to implement many of the techniques described in the book with the help of ZinCo, which offers affordable technologies for landscaping roofs and terraces, vertical landscaping, arranging lawns and flower beds, as well as services for their operation. *** Review of Sergei Viktorovich Gnedovsky on the book “Nature and Architecture.
