The pavilion of 10 standard shipping containers is located on the Chongmindao Island at the mouth of the Yangtze River, administratively - within the borders of Shanghai. It needed to be adapted to accommodate the reception and exhibition area of the Orenda Resort - significantly expanding the floor space, while still being refurbished.

A particular problem was the shape of the containers - long and rather narrow. Therefore, the authors of the project added to each of the ten blocks a "twin" - a lattice volume of wooden profiles. These permeable shapes provide the building with the space it needs (1,800 m2) and contrast with closed containers, blurring the border with the surroundings. The color has also changed - to a combination of white and wood color. The accent in the composition is created by the river, over which the pavilion is thrown like a bridge.
On the first floor there is a reception desk and an exhibition area, on the second there is a simple cafe, and on the very top there are offices and a meeting room.
