The BIM project competition allows one to assess the level of mastery of modern technologies in the field of architectural design, summarize the experience of implementing BIM technologies in universities and create conditions for the exchange of this experience.
Participating students had to not only create high-quality architecture and graphic presentation, but also show the effective use of BIM tools from GRAPHISOFT
The works were accepted in three nominations: an individual residential building, an apartment building and a public building. We present the winners in each of them. By the way, among the winners there are participant from Russia - Alina Krits, a student of MGSU, who presented to the jury an apartment building with elements of vertical gardening.
Public building
First place
Tiffany Xiani
Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Sao Paulo
The project involves the construction of a bridge in the center of São Paulo, which could "break" the physical barriers of the city and at the same time become a popular public space. The main idea is not to limit the user's imagination, to allow visitors to interpret the space in their own way. For this, multifunctional rooms, stands, and a relief floor are provided. The materials selected are metal and glass - for strength and visual permeability. The whole project was done with Archicad 23.

Tomas Vengzhin
Silesian University of Technology, Poland
The project is dedicated to the development of the coastal area of the Polish city of Gliwice. The author proposes to create a large multifunctional tourist and educational complex here. Here you can spend time with benefit, take advantage of opportunities for active and relaxing rest. The overriding task of creating such a complex is to contribute to the well-being of users through architecture and ecology. Among other things, the project takes into account the existing cultural and architectural context of the city, gives the old infrastructure a new life. Among the materials, the emphasis is on wood. All the main functions of Archicad were also involved in the development of the project.

Third place
Elvis Ikanovich
Graz University of Technology
The building designed by the author is a cubic volume formed by many stacked "boxes". The size of each such "box" is dictated by its functionality (functions are provided for different - from sports to cultural). A separate place in the project is occupied by the basement of the building, the free part of which forms the public space.
