The international competition with a prize fund of 6 million rubles was organized at the initiative of RUSAL, which will finance the implementation of a project significant for the city. The competition was attended by 76 companies: 53 in consortia and 23 individually. The concepts were developed by three qualified finalists - consortia led by MAP, MLA + and Bazis, respectively. The consortium of the architectural bureau MAP became the winner by the jury's decision.
“The discussion was really very difficult, there was no clear leader in relation to whom we could say that tomorrow we are starting the implementation of his project, there was no, because all three finalists had ideas that deserve attention, respect and use in the final version. The design time is very limited, and work should begin by May, so we hope that our finalists will unite into a creative team and shoulder to shoulder will try to create something that each of them will be proud of,”commented the chairman of the jury, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss.

First place
Architectural Bureau MAP, LDA Design Consulting, Sarner International Ltd
The architects aimed to create an exemplary space that is relevant today and worthy of becoming the legacy of future generations. Numerous playgrounds for sports, recreation and games of people of all ages and interests are called upon to ensure the popularity of the park among the townspeople and guests of Krasnoyarsk. Here you can watch a movie in the open air, visit the spa, have a picnic on the green lawn, enjoy the picturesque landscapes. And themed platforms are connected by rail. Many activities are provided for the winter, because Krasnoyarsk is primarily a winter city.

This concept brings back the forest charm to the park, taking all the discordant elements and auxiliary functions outside of it. Here you can plunge into silence, imagine yourself out of town, relax and enjoy nature. The renovated park will become the main scenery for the life of Krasnoyarsk residents, a background for joyful moments and photographs of many generations.

Third place
Bureau "Basis", Citymakers, "Culture of Light"
In this project, the park becomes the embodiment of local identity, and nature becomes the main attraction here. However, the architects envisioned many leisure options for the townspeople. The park's symbols - the railway and the Ferris wheel - will be supplemented by a new event space, exhibition and educational spaces, modern playgrounds for children and a restaurant cluster.
