ROCKWOOL presents a new range of roofing materials that will make it easier and faster to find complex solutions, taking into account the uniqueness of each object. Thermal insulation materials for flat roofs are now divided into the STANDARD, OPTIMA and EXTRA groups. This structure makes it possible to select thermal insulation boards for the top and bottom layer or a single-layer solution with an optimal combination of strength characteristics. The amount of materials needed can be easily calculated using the new ROCKWOOL Roofing Calculator.
The new ROCKWOOL roofing line allows you to take into account the individuality of each object, whether it is a large warehouse complex with minimal equipment on the roof that does not require constant maintenance, or a residential or public building with a large number of roof passages, strict requirements for cleaning, inspection, placement of ventilation and telecommunication equipment … Accordingly, for each object, the designer can choose an individual complex solution that meets the requirements for the durability and strength of the structure, depending on its features.
The updated line includes 10 types of thermal insulation boards:
- 3 variants of double density boards: RUF BATTS D STANDARD, RUF BATTS D OPTIMA, RUF BATTS D EXTRA
- 2 plates for the top layer: ROOF BATTS V OPTIMA and ROOF BATTS V EXTRA
- 2 plates for the bottom layer: RUF BATTS N OPTIMA and RUF BATTS N EXTRA
- Special boards RUF BATTS SCREED for roofs; RUF BATTS N LAMELLA - strips-lamellas made of stone wool, used for roofs with a curved or domed surface, including those with glue fastening; and BONDROCK - slabs for roofing with waterproofing from roll or mastic materials without mechanical fastening.
The new ROCKWOOL calculator can be used to calculate the required amount of roofing products. To do this, it is enough to set the parameters of the roof and select the required materials, and the system will provide a complete list and the exact number of components. Among the advantages of the new tool, it is worth noting the absence of restrictions in the geometry of the roof, the presence of a built-in module for calculating the required thickness of the thermal insulation layer, as well as interactive illustrations that change depending on the choice of initial data. The finished calculation can be sent by e-mail, printed, saved in pdf format. The calculator will be useful for designers, estimators, contractors, engineers of technical equipment, dealers. If you have complex questions, experts from the ROCKWOOL Design Center are ready to provide professional advice.
“The conditions of the modern world require designers and builders to make ever faster decisions, to find the best and most comprehensive solutions that meet the quality requirements and take into account the individuality of each object. Therefore, ROCKWOOL is constantly working to innovate, improve existing products, provide convenient tools for its customers and consumers. The new roofing line of thermal insulation and the Rockwool roof calculator will facilitate and speed up the work of our partners, which means that we will see more and more new, high-quality and fireproof buildings,”comments Irina Sadchikova, Marketing and Strategic Development Director of Rockwool Russia.
The new roofing line and calculator for calculating roofing products will be available from 1st July 2015
