The architectural concept of the sports school of Vyacheslav Tretyak, presented by the iCube company, is dedicated to the solution of such a problem. The complex is supposed to have two main parts - the actual hockey school and commercial premises in the usual composition: a megamol, a supermarket and an office center. The second, commercial, part, judging by the declared volume of space, exceeds the first, the hockey one by as much as 9 times - the figurative-architectural sketch from the iCube from the inside thus turns out to be a typical example of Moscow investment construction. How does it look from the outside?

Quite European. The semantic core of the complex is a hockey school, pushed forward and looks like a glass mushroom-"raincoat", covered with a grid of diagonal articulations. The "mushroom" looks like an enlarged ice stalagmite, one of those pillars that grow in front of the walls of houses during a spring drop. This similarity is understandable - after all, there must be an ice arena inside, and therefore the form can even be considered "speaking" - reflecting the purpose of the building with sculptural and architectural means.

The rest of the buildings serve as background. The building of the megamola is, as expected, low and long, it stretches along the square. The front façade has been transformed into a kind of screen shading the glass sculpture of the hockey school. Its plane actively responds to its neighbor - it bends slightly, retreating from it, and also forms a glass spot in the middle - a cluster of windows chaotically scattered over the rest of the surface, resembling large pixels of a computer picture.

In contrast to the mall's opaque and spread-out building, the office center is (again, as it should be) glassy and quite vertical, it looks like, though not literally, like a half-open book. The building-book "looks" towards the square, echoing the theme set by the concave facade of the store.

Thus, the three parts of the complex are simultaneously compared and opposed to each other - a dialogue arises between them, during which mutual connections and differences are manifested, and the necessary accents are also placed. This allows us to see in this architectural study a successful solution to the typical Moscow theme of investment construction with a predominance of commercial space.
