The ventilation façade production industry is rapidly developing today, offering customers - builders and investors - new, more advanced systems. One of the latest market innovations is a fundamentally new system of hinged ventilated facades made of galvanized steel with a polymer coating, developed by specialists of the St. Petersburg Group of Companies "MAKON".

The façade system developed and manufactured by the MAKON Group of Companies on the basis of the production and technical complex PTK MAKON, which is part of the Group, is intended for insulation and finishing of building facades. Wall cladding can be made using metal cassettes, ceramic granite slabs, natural stone, as well as fiber cement slabs.

The design of the new type of hinged ventilated facades has excellent strength characteristics, in particular, increased rigidity and stability. The system is successfully used for finishing the facades of erected and reconstructed buildings up to 75 m high and higher. In addition, the increased anti-corrosion properties of the system make it possible to extend the service life of the ventilation facade.

Let's list the main advantages of the new system of hinged ventilated facades produced under the MAKON brand

First of all, the increase in the support area of the bearing bracket (60 x 100, 60 x 140 mm) made it possible to significantly reduce the pullout load on the dowel. Thus, the system can be successfully used for the protection, decoration and cladding of walls with low breakout results - walls made of aerated concrete, hollow bricks, and so on. In addition, this makes it the optimal façade solution for the renovation of old buildings. With a smaller support arm (as in many other façade systems), the increased load leads to an increase in the number of brackets (Fig. 2).

The developers of the system also managed to ensure the optimal ratio of strength and metal consumption of the system elements. The required strength is achieved due to the special shape of the bracket and the rational use of steel. This makes it possible to do without increasing the number of brackets used and to reduce the metal consumption of the structure.

The fact is that all elements of the new MAKON facade system are symmetrical, due to which the loads are applied evenly, while there is no lateral horizontal component of the wind load. In addition, unlike traditional L-shaped brackets, the symmetrical shape of the bearing bracket (Fig. 2) excludes the occurrence of a bending moment under wind load. The additional bracket has a symmetrical closed shape, which contributes to the uniform transfer of force to the bearing bracket and enhances the reliability of fastening (Fig. 3).

This ensures stability in all directions and rigidity of the entire system.

The guide easily moves relative to the additional brackets vertically, without moving out of the plane, as its shape repeats the additional bracket. The additional bracket is fixed on the supporting bracket due to the elasticity of the legs and is held on it, while allowing the movement of the additional connector relative to the supporting bracket to adjust the system's extension from the wall (Fig. 4).

An important advantage is the ability to move the ventilated facade at a distance of up to 350 mm from the building wall. This allows the system to be used on the facades of buildings with complex architecture, to create ventilation facades in several planes. PTC "MAKON" provides serial production of bearing brackets from 100 to 290 mm: 110, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 290. Orders are completed with exactly those products that are necessary for the implementation of a specific project.

The symmetry of the system elements also simplifies the design process and reduces the risk of design errors

Naturally, the ventilated façade from MAKON has all the advantages typical for such façade systems. Among them - reliable protection of the building, its structures and premises from adverse environmental influences, good thermal insulation and sound insulation, high fire resistance, durability, environmental friendliness. Since there are no so-called "wet" processes when installing a ventilated facade (unlike plaster facade systems), it can be done at any time of the year, regardless of the outside temperature and precipitation. The ventilated façade system makes it possible to compensate for significant wall irregularities during the renovation of buildings. It is easily repairable and requires virtually no maintenance. For the production of elements of suspended ventilated facades, the MAKON Group uses only high-quality materials approved for use in construction, having all the necessary certificates and meeting all modern requirements for strength, stability, and fire resistance. The substructure of the ventilated facade system includes: bearing brackets, additional brackets, guide (bearing) profiles, connecting insert, anchor dowels, rivets, clamps (Fig. 5).

Installation of ventilation facades using the MAKON system allows you to reduce the time required for facade work. The floating connection of the guides using a connecting insert, designed to compensate for the linear expansion of the vertical guide, allows you to reduce the consumption of components per square meter of the wall. No special measures are required for the installation of a thermal joint, since the guide made of galvanized steel has small linear expansion. Many years of experience in the design and installation of ventilated facades allowed the designers of the PTC "MAKON" to create a product that is structurally different from other systems existing at the present time. This is confirmed by the results of tests at the Federal Certification Center of Rosstroy. So, according to experts from the Federal Center for Construction of the State Construction Committee of the Russian Federation, the PTC "MAKON" system is distinguished by "the originality of the design solution, which allows to ensure a reliable connection of all elements of the system without the emergence of additional local power factors using clear classical schemes."

The system for hinged ventilated facades "MAKON" is a rational use of materials and labor costs, reliability and safety, ample opportunities for creating any architectural solutions while maintaining the "warm" contour of the walls.

The group of companies "MAKON" was established in St. Petersburg in the early 90s as a contractor specializing in the performance of facade work

Already in 1998, thanks to a competent marketing policy and high technical and technological potential, MAKON became one of the leaders in this segment of the regional construction market, having hundreds of thousands of square meters of facades of residential buildings and commercial real estate installed and restored in the northern capital

Dynamically developing, "MAKON" was one of the first in the North-West of Russia to introduce into production the technology of installation of facade systems with a ventilated gap

Today the MAKON Group is a tightly integrated structure that includes construction, production and trade divisions, a design bureau

The group of companies "MAKON" has licenses and certificates for consulting, monitoring compliance with technologies and performing installation work on the following facade systems:

  • systems of the Caparoll and Capatect concern;
  • insulation systems KREISEL TURBO;
  • thermal insulation systems StoTherm;
  • materials and technologies of ATLAS firm;
  • systems of insulation of facades of buildings "SERPOROK";
  • facade insulation systems TERMOKREPS.

A well-developed technical base (owned by the Group of Companies more than 40 thousand square meters of scaffolding, mast hoists, towers, a fleet of construction and specialized equipment), highly qualified personnel and impeccable fulfillment of all contractual obligations allowed the MAKON Group to acquire a reputation as a reliable and responsible partner, capable of high-quality implementation of "turnkey" facade projects of any complexity level
