What is your film about?
- We wanted to talk about European architecture in an accessible language - so that it would be interesting not only for professionals, but also for a wide audience. Therefore, we paid special attention to the choice of objects: the task was to show not only the sights from the guidebooks, but also to allow the viewer to feel the architecture and the very spirit of the city as the locals feel them.
What is the goal of your project?
- Its name “Architectural Atlas” is not accidental. We would like that, having arrived in this or that city of Europe, you could decide in advance, thanks to one of our films, which places there would be interesting to visit. In our Munich film, only comparatively brief information on each of the buildings is deliberately given, so that the viewer has a desire to study those that he liked deeper, or even come to Bavaria to see them with his own eyes.
We hope that the film will be especially useful for students of creative universities who are just starting their career in the profession and who will be able to learn from the "Architectural Atlas" useful examples and techniques in order to subsequently apply them in Russia.
