The five-meter object in bright white painted aluminum is located in the lobby of the Zara store on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Such an advertising gesture hardly attracted much attention against the background of various events of Milan Design Week, when it was not about such a prominent architectural studio, if it works for "brands", then on a grand scale (as in the case of their Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart or a Louis Vuitton multi-storey store project for Tokyo). In this case, they entered into an alliance with an affordable and widespread clothing brand that does not at all strive for originality.
Probably, the customers were influenced by the very atmosphere of the "city of design", which makes it fit the environment. In the case of architects, it can be assumed that they were interested in the opportunity to exhibit their work in a solemn interior in the line of Art Deco, with all the richness of material and decor characteristic of this style. Their two-part streamlined volume with multi-colored LED lighting is placed under a Murano glass chandelier descending from a gilded vault. No attempt was made to reconcile the installation with the surroundings, but the contrast softens the fact that we are, in fact, two versions of chic - modern and half a century ago.
