It will be an ensemble with a total area of 600,000 m2, uniting in one place all the media sectors producing “content” aimed at the Arab consumer. According to the architects' plan, the port of Abu Dhabi Mina Zayed (Port Zayed) will house the headquarters of twofour54, her school, a "business incubator" and an industrial complex, including television and radio studios, etc. They will be supplemented by offices, a hotel, housing and a conference center. All this will be located in buildings facing the sea and connected by a common "podium" with a media plaza and public spaces, complemented by shops and restaurants.
Diller Scofidio + Renfro will take part in the development of a media solution for open spaces.
All of the above constitutes "Zone 1" of the campus. "Zone 2" will be taken care of by the KPF bureau, and the conceptual master plan of the entire complex was developed by Bernard Chumi.
