The new restaurant is located on Leninsky Prospekt and belongs to the Gastronomika holding. For Roman Leonidov's architectural bureau, this is not the first collaboration with this company - last year the tandem implemented the project of the Sky Lounge restaurant. But if then the main emphasis in interior design was placed on the unique location of the restaurant (on the 23rd floor of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences), then the main theme of the new establishment was its gastronomic specialization.

"Fish" and more broadly - the sea - themes can be traced almost everywhere. The wavy pattern of textured plaster that covers the walls, the bluish glass of the bar, striped upholstery of chairs and canvas textiles - these small, skillfully selected details form the image of the sea coast, which is conducive to relaxation and a leisurely meal.

However, the main character of the gastronomic boutique is the seafood itself. Fish is the first thing that meets a visitor of a new restaurant. Directly opposite the entrance, there is a 10-meter bar with an open seafood display case. Almost everything that the water element is rich in is laid out in sparkling ice crumbs: from black cod, Armenian trout and monkfish to scallops, giant shrimps and lobsters.

The bar counter was designed according to an individual sketch by Roman and Anastasia Leonidov, and Bi Glass systems were used in its manufacture. And in order to ensure that this piece of furniture, mesmerizing in its size and strictness of lines, was not perceived exclusively as a showcase, architects applied prints with statements of famous people on its glass facades. Oscar Wilde, Benjamin Franklin, Einstein, Cervantes and even Galileo Galilei did not deny themselves the pleasure of enjoying exquisite cuisine and left many apt formulations to posterity about the exceptional benefits of gourmet.

In total, the restaurant "Gastronomica Fish" has three halls - the main one (it is organized around the show-window bar) and two small ones, in which you can retire with a small company (up to 12 people) or find a cozy table for two in a secluded corner. The floors in all rooms are made of natural slate, the layered structure of which creates an expressive surface texture reminiscent of waves running on the sand. At the same time, the banquet hall has no windows, therefore, more saturated and bright colors - terracotta, orange, chocolate brown - are used in its design, while soft pastel colors prevail in the interiors of the other two halls. Retro posters depicting yachts, schooners and fishermen, which the architects placed in original square frames, become a "through" element of the decor that unites the premises of the restaurant.
