On October 14 in London, the winners of the International Property Awards 2014 were announced and the awards were solemnly presented. We have already written about this award many times. This year there are only three regions for which the awards are being awarded: Pacific, America and Europe. The structure of the award remained the same: four nominations: "Architecture", "Interior", "Development" and "Company in the field of real estate" are divided into subcategories "Five stars" and "Honorable mention by the jury" ("Highly Commented"). Projects that have received five stars automatically become regional winners and continue to struggle for global recognition.
Compared to last year, the list of winners of the European division of the award, the European Property Awards, is not so rich in projects from Russia, but it is still pleasing to the eye. In the nomination "Architecture" seven Russian objects were marked (two received "Five stars"), "Interior" - twelve (six of them with the highest award), "Development" - eleven projects (three "star"), in the nomination "Company in in the real estate sector”, the Kalinka consulting group received both the highest award and an honorable mention.
It is interesting that for the second year in a row the Moscow bureau T + T Architects has received the award for the best architecture of a residential property, and the Archstroydizayn studio in this nomination was awarded the Highly Commented category awards in both 2013 and 2014. Recall that in 2013 Archstroydesign also received the Five Stars award for the best office building (object: Mobile TeleSystems administrative building). In addition, the project for the reconstruction of the territory of the Dynamo stadium (VTB Arena Park), submitted for the award of developers, CJSC Dynamo Management Company, received an honorable mention at once for both architecture and development.
