It will replace the existing institution of the same name: construction should begin next year. The complex with a total area of 278 thousand m2 is designed for 838 patients.
This is a “city within a city”, where functional areas will be combined with hanging gardens, courtyards and a “center” with cafes and shops. All this should create the impression of a "normal environment" in patients and their loved ones, calm them down and tune in to an optimistic mood. Also, this will be facilitated by a clear separation of various kinds of service territories and the "patient zone".
The structure of the hospital is a high basement with an emergency room, operating rooms, intensive care wards and other common premises for the entire institution (as well as various public spaces) and high buildings resting on it with wards: general department, pediatrics, women's health.
The facades of the basement will be faced with stone, the children's section - with multi-colored glass, the women's section - to imitate traditional carved gratings - musharabiya.
