Huge volumes of construction around the world are depleting resources, reducing biodiversity, and expanding the technosphere.

In this regard, the so-called "green" construction (green building) is becoming increasingly important - the practice of construction and operation of buildings aimed at improving the quality of the indoor microclimate, minimizing the impact on the environment, as well as reducing energy costs for the construction and operation of the building as a whole.

The most significant cost item for the operation of the building (about 73%) is the cost of lighting.

The use of natural daylight and efficient artificial lighting can save energy up to 75%. The maximum penetration of daylight into the room is achieved by using a large number of translucent areas on the facade.

When designing, it is necessary to correctly orient the building in space to the cardinal points, placing premises intended for permanent residence of people on the most illuminated sides of the building, which will make it possible to most effectively use daylight to illuminate working and living areas.

Also, a significant part of the costs (the second largest - about 14.7%) is the cost of heating. The use of enclosing structures with high heat engineering characteristics allows to reduce the cost of heating the building in winter. For instance, in a series of translucent facades TP-50300 for TATPROF, the use of a foamed thermal insert made it possible to increase the coefficient of resistance to heat transfer along the profile to a value of 1.45 m2C / W. An increase in the thermal characteristics of the opaque sections of the facade is achieved by using a layer of mineral wool insulation. Nomenclature of profiles of the TATPROF building system in a series of ventilated facades allows the use of insulation up to 320mm thick.

The optimal ratio of transparent and opaque parts will allow you to achieve a balance between the need to use daylight as a tool to reduce lighting costs, and the need to improve thermal performance, which in turn reduces heating costs.

In the hot season, it becomes necessary to protect the premises from excessive overheating of the air and the occurrence of glare on household and organizational equipment. And with that, and with another task will help to cope with sunscreen systems: external or internal. Internal shading systems include blinds. Usually they are installed on windows and stained-glass windows from the inside, from the side of the room. Blinds have a number of advantages, such as relative cheapness, ease of installation and replacement. But they also have a drawback: in the summer, the blinds heat up, giving off the accumulated heat to the inside of the room, which in turn leads to additional costs for air conditioning the building.

This disadvantage of internal systems of shading is absent in external, installed on the outside of the stained-glass windows and windows. Lamels TP-50400 from TATPROF belong to external sun-protection systems and, in addition to their main purpose, can be used to decorate the facade.

According to the ideology of green building, for a more comfortable stay in the room, sunscreens should be equipped with mechanisms for adjusting the angle of inclination of reflective elements. Currently in the TP-50400 series, nodes for movable fastening of lamellas have been worked out and mastered profiles for 3 fastening options in a fixed position at an arbitrary angle.

Among other things, green building implies a high quality indoor environment. Air exchange in the room is provided by the opening elements of the windows. Two types of opening provide the ability to control the level

air exchange in the room, ensuring maximum comfort of stay. In the window series of the TATPROF building system, a Euro groove is laid (V.01 in the frame and 15/20 in the sash), which allows the use of a wide range of domestic and foreign fittings: from standard tilt-and-turn to tilt-slide.

Most buildings use supply and exhaust air conditioning systems. The optimal solution for framing ventilation chambers, closing openings for air conditioners and heating radiators are ventilation grilles of the EK-30 series. The possibility of integrating gratings into stained-glass windows and painting in any RAL color allows you to fulfill these tasks with the maximum benefit for the architectural appearance of the building.

Another important advantage of aluminum systems is the indisputable environmental friendliness of aluminum. This metal is easily recyclable, unlike PVC, it is 100 percent recyclable, and its production is one of the safest in metallurgy.

One of the economic axioms is that what cannot be measured cannot be improved. Today in the world there are many certification systems for "green" buildings. The most recognized of these are BREEAM (UK) and LEED (USA). Certification according to "green" standards not only increases the competitiveness of the building, but also saves money at all stages, promotes integration into the global trend, is the key to foreign investment and recognition at the global level.

AS TATPROF is moving towards sustainable design together with its customers and partners. Our company plans to increase the thermal performance of translucent structures through the development of co-extruded components, modernization of window systems in order to introduce shutters with "hidden" opening, as well as the development of movable shading systems.
