The tower in the center of the capital of the state of Arizona will reach a height of 128 meters. The client of the project, Novawest, believes that the view from above the landscapes of the desolate Valley of the Sun, where Phoenix is located, and the surrounding mountains will be a good tourist attraction.

A thin "stem" of a reinforced concrete tower supports a sphere at its top. Visitors will climb to the very top in three glazed elevators and then descend down an open spiral promenade. To make it fit into a spherical shape, its width varies from zero at the "poles" of the sphere to the maximum at its "equator".

The architects compare their project with an unknown planet, which is invited to explore the visitors. In the upper part of the sphere there will be exhibition spaces, in the lower part - restaurants. There will be no internal partitions; different functional areas will each be at its own level.

The tower was also called "Pin" for its shape: it resembles a huge mark on a 1: 1 scale map. At its foot, a square with awnings, ponds, shops and cafes will be created. For those wishing to go upstairs, an underground space will be created, where they can comfortably wait for their turn.
