The Anglican Chapel, dedicated to Bishop Edward King, who headed the college at the end of the 19th century, replaced the neo-Gothic structure that could no longer accommodate the believers - students and nuns of the small order of the Begbroke Sisters. The main task of the architects was to coordinate the new building with the adjacent college building and the priest's house, buildings in the neo-Gothic style, which have the status of an architectural monument. In addition, the chapel is located among the beeches at the top of the hill and is visible from afar: its silhouette was not supposed to spoil the panorama, and the trees had to be preserved.

The building is an ellipse in plan; benches for believers are arranged according to the scheme of a collegiate church. Outside, the building is faced with limestone, similar in color to the stone of neighboring buildings. In the lower part of the walls, it is folded in regular rows, above it obliquely, forming something like edges. The façade of the chapel is completed by a glazing tape covered with stone "slats". The outer masonry of cut stone is supplemented from the inside with a layer of concrete blocks, but the roof does not rest on the walls of the building: it is supported by glued laminated lumber columns placed along the perimeter of the inner space. They limit the central space of the "nave", emphasize its resemblance to the "ship" (a reference to the Latin etymology of the word), and the intertwining of their "branches" under the roof reminds of the second meaning of the English nave: wheel hub.

In addition to the sunlit "nave" and a darker space between the columns and outer walls, the architects envisioned a niche overlooking the meadows for individual prayer, as well as a prayer room for nuns.

A rectangular volume with a vestibule, sacristy and utility rooms is attached to the rounded volume of the chapel, and there is also a belfry. The project budget was 2 million pounds.
