The building is located in a garden, and large windows and galleries blur the line between the interior and the surrounding space. Concrete facades are sheathed with wood, floors are made of fiber-reinforced concrete, solar panels are installed on the roof.
The interior space is clearly divided into three parts: the nursery (classrooms, bedrooms, etc.), staff (offices, medical office) and the lobby and the circulation area between them.
The walls of the lobby are painted with multi-colored stripes, which are complemented by the same multi-colored clothes hangers: this is how the “childish” purpose of the building immediately becomes clear. In the upper, white part of the walls, there is a drawing by Dick Brun.
The wall of the common space for grades 4-6 is designed for multiple coloring: children will be able to draw on it. Otherwise, white walls and simple wooden furniture serve as backdrops for student art on display.
